pueblan milksnake retained scale after shed....

    Hey, just wondering how big a deal it is for a little pueblan milksnake to have retained one of her dorsal scales near her mid back end. Nothing really to worry about, as long as it goes with the next shed, right? It's not near her cloaca or anything so yea just double checking.

    Do you mean there is a bit of stuck shed still? Or did she lose (or damaged) a scale? I'm not really sure what you are asking here??

    She seems to have lost it and in the process damage/loose a scale :) What the problem was, was that I saw a piece of skin left on one or two individual scales.

    jsut soak for 15 minutes in 90F water. the remaining hed should com off OK.
    its not in an area that would be harmed if left on either.
