quick UVB question

    Also quick question! I came across some UVB 10 "desert" bulbs to replace my old UVB 5 bulbs that recently broke. Will this be too strong for my green anoles? (I've never used more than UVB 5s)

    Nope, should be fine. Unless you are using the T5 high output bulbs, the fluorescent UVB bulbs are more typical of sunlight in a shaded area. I actually usually recommend people use the desert bulbs for tropical animals if they are willing to spend the couple extra dollars for this very reason, and because the screen lids typically used will filter out some UVB as well.
