Hey I'm new here and I've been kind of freaking out about whether or not my beardie, Quazi, is too cold.. I check the temperatures religiously and his basking spot right now averages about 95 degrees. Right now I have a 40 gallon breeder and a 100 watt heating lamp.. His basking spot is just a wooden hide I found at the pet store... Any advice on how close he should be to the light? Also, I was thinking about just going out to the mountains and finding him a nice rock to use as his basking platform? (I'd sanitize it and cook it, don't worry.) Thoughts? Thanks!
