My baby savannah Monitor refuses to eat calcium, or vitamin dusted crickets, mealworms, anything. But he will eat anything that is not dusted.

The scenario goes as is: I dust the food items, throw them in the tank, the savannah gets excited and starts flickering tounge, moving closer and closer to the cricket until facing it headon and losing all interest.

When I throw in non dusted, though. He eats them like it's nothing, fast and easy.

What I'm wondering is, is it all right if he goes on a non dusted diet as long as my feeders are gutloaded with a very nutritional mix and as long as he gets proper lighting. I've tried many different brands of calcium/vitamin dusts and he turns his head to each one.

His diet consists of: Gutloaded meal worms, super worms, Crickets, Pinky Mice, Egg yokes, and wax worms for now.
