I have had a painted turtle for the past 8 years with no problems, recently it has developed cloudy spots spreading all over its shell (look brown underwater). The turtle does not smell bad or emit odors and so far the spots just feel like a regular turtle shell. The tank level is high enough for him to be submerged completely; I have included two photos you can examine. Please help.
