mostly albinos and pieds right now but i also want to pick up some axanthics down the road and maybe some orange ghosts
Clowns happen to be one of my favorite morphs. In my top 5. I could have bought a pair of hets if I wanted to. But like Drew said, there is more of a market for albinos, pieds, ghosts, pastels, mojaves, spiders, ect.. When you start dealing with snakes that are worth more than 10k, thats when you dont sell them as quick. But dont get me wrong, if you enjoy working with clowns, go right ahead! Dont work with something you dont enjoy. Sammy told me that and I agree with him 110%! You will sell the pieds, albinos, ghosts, ect.. a lot quicker. But work with a morph you enjoy! Once we see some return we will be getting some clowns, mojaves, lessers, cinnies, ect... For now im with the ghosts, pieds, albinos, pastels, and spiders. Looking to produce some bumblebees!!!
hey orange i looked on the genetics wizard thing and it says that if i have a het a normal that they will just be hets. im really confused here thanks
well by hets im assuming you are talking about recessive genes in which case you would need 2 hets to have any chance of producing a visual morph. For example a albino x normal = all het albinos, not even one visual. however het albino x het albino = 25% normal, 25% albino, and 50% het albino. So you see for recessive genes both parents must carry the gene to have any chance of producing a visual morph. :mrgreen:
