Just wondering if each hatchling should be in it's own enclosure. The one we suspect will turn out to be male (does push-ups, bobs his head, and flares his little dewlap (no colour showing yet)) tens to be a bit of a bully. The other one is still getting food, but if it tries to go on the rock or up the branches... it gets chase all over the place an ends up practically living in the foliage. I've even seen the male chase it away from food on one occasion. I don't really want to separate them, but I don't want there to be a problem because I didn't. HELP!!! I know they like to worry us, but after losing the other one I don't want to lose another.
Forgot to mention, the one being bullied is a dark brown to black a lot of the time (sometimes a lighter brown, but not as much as when they first hatched).
We kept ours in a group and had no problem, of course there were more than 2. We had a total of about 35 or so baby brown anoles and house geckos. They all lived quite happily with each other for several months. But, if one is bullying the other, then personally I would separate them.
Thought that would probably be the best idea... well, guess I'll be buying yet another 10G tomorrow. We now have 3 good ones and one I broke the bottom on (works when we're cleaning the good ones... just put Saran Wrap accross the bottom and a layer of earth). We were hoping to be okay, but I don't want one suffering because the other is a bully! Thanks Axe... you just confirmed what I suspected was best.
