Apparently the FIRE show has been moved to July this year, and not the end of May as originally advertised.

I'm up in Jacksonville, and reletively new to reptiles. The wife and I will be at the show on the 31st & 1st in Jacksonville. In fact, she is the one who has gotten me involved with reptiles. Currently we have a Dum, a Red Tail, and Ozzy, our Bearded Dragon. The Red Tail and dragon are rescues/adoptions. I'll be lurking and learning.

    Update as of 2/5/04:
add a juvenile male CB Ball Python, and another adoption, a 2ft female Ball Python.

I'm not sure sure how common they are up there, but here in Sarasota, yeah, they're very common.

Are house Geckos common to this area? I caught two of them in my back yard.

yes they are common in nw fl. I love to watch them hunt on sliding glass doors. Once i was outside with my female gecko and to house geckos staring fighting near us. She starting her wierd chirping. It was pretty funny.
