    Which of these two normal female do you think will prove out het for granite...lol Both are normals het albino green 66% het granite.

    Wow those are amazing. I just got my first burm saturday and its a normal that is 66% het albino. I like the first pic. Your lavander tiger is amazing too. If you want I will volunteer to hold it back for you :)

    so on the green phase burms, does it just depend on what bloodlines they're coming from that determine how much actual pattern and blotching they have...? or is it just more luck than anything else? wasn't sure if it was something that could be affected or if it was random... thanks, they're all looking really good!

    Hey Blake,
    the spotting on the greens is actually caused by the granite gene when they have it. Just like on the normal burms you can see one has the puzzle pattern, while the other has much larger blotches. So, if you bred one of these spotted greens to any other green, about half the babies should have the spotting.

    Well that makes sense, and I actually was assuming that's why the two you had pictured were so different, but what about the ones without much of any pattern? What causes that and/or the "normal" green phase blotching...?
