We have a leopard gecko that is about 5 months old. When we go him, we had purchased the terrarium kits with overhead lights for day and night. Upon learning more and advice from a local reptile store, we decided to change things up. We purchased an UTH for our 10 gallon tank, new substrate, and a new hide. Yesterday, we switched it over and now our little guy is totally stressed. He is climbing the walls, laying in strange positions, not eating, and isn't relaxing in his new hide (laying on top of it). Because he wouldn't go in the hide, I got nervous about the temperature and just turned the UTH off and went back to my lamps. I don't know what to do. I feel terrible that we have stressed him out and am trying to figure out the best way to proceed. Any help would be appreciated!!
