Stroked my leopard gecko today....but

    She stands still but she lifts her tail up in the air...I don't know what that means. I haven't let her walk into my hand yet...I don't know if she knows my fingers aren't yummy mealworms.

    Oh it's the first time I have ever touched her, I had a glove on haha... :/

    Anyways, I really don't know how to tame a leopard gecko, she's 2 month old, had her for about 2-3 weeks now :)

    lol! I was confused the first time I saw them do that too. It's almost like how a cat arcs its back when it doesn't like being touched. The best thing to do is just touch her in her tank for a little bit, and then try to scoot her onto your hand when you take her out. Remember that anything with a mouth can bite. That being said, they don't really bite so you don't have to use a glove if you don't want to.

    She feels threatened. Pet her much more gently and make sure she sees your finger.
