So my bahaman anoles tail fell of the other day since my friend handled it the wrong way.. I separated the little guy from the other one and put him in a sterile plastic container with some sterile plastic plants to climb on. i also provided a dish of mealies and water for its followed by a light mist (Just making sure she has enough water.) Now, I've heard alot of different things about antibiotic ointments on reptiles but i was so worried about infection that i went ahead and diluted some triple antibiotic ointment and rubbed the stub gently with it after gently cleaning it (i do this 2 times max daily). So do I keep her in a different enclosure till she starts healing? Is what im doing ok? Please let me know, I hope i don't get flamed for things I can't help like I do on other sites.
