It's never been disputed that it cannot be done, just that people shouldn't buy a tokay becuase they think they CAN tame it. Congrats with taming yours though!
CBB's are always a lot easier to deal with too...........the ones people get from pet shops are usually all WC subs to adults that want to rip your fingers off...........LOL
wow...my boyfriends is the same...but you cannot go near it...tried to clean his tank once...almost got bit...Curt went to clean the tank once...did not see the tokay hiding, and poked him in the eye, but got his finger out in time...but i do know someone who got bit once....it took over 2 hours to get it off his arm...whole time it twisted its head...nice chunk out of his arm by the end of it
ive only been handling my new tokay a week but already today he closes his mouth after a moment of me gentlely restraining him.
