Oh no. Surely the planet would collapse under the overwhelming cuteness. It's just..... too much.
True...true...not to mention, y'all remember the saddness if the Great raisen famine of 89'? that was the ferrets....
Ferets are so cute, i started learning up on them and I find that they're illegal in CA! :? Does anyone know why??
"Fereal population" Yeah, right, just smuggle one over the boarder, buy a "cat cage" from martinscages.com, they cat cages are the EXACT same as the ferret cages, get hammocks and stuff off ebay.....nobody will know.....go to Las Vegas and adopt.....i had a friend who lived in CA, she now has 4 ferts!
Yeah, I'm hearing that it's a not too well enforced law! If you guys keep posting these adorable pics, I may be forced to beome an outlaw!!
That is a lot of ferrets! One of these days I might have to get one of them Right now... 2 Pomeranians, 2 Cats, 11 snakes, and 3 lizards is enough for my household.
LMAO.......lot's of pets! Spot: Don't fell ashamed......half of the poeple who voted for schwarzenegger were ferret owners......in fact there are 500,000 PLUS ferret owners in CA, www.ferretsanon.com
So, now this thread is unlocked? I totally missed what happened yesterday, but glad not everyone is punished because of one. This seems like a popular thread. I used to want a ferret, until I saw the ones at the pet store bite. But I think these were pretty young. I would consider getting one, if we didn't have so many pets already. They are awfully darn cute. I was thinking of a Chinchilla, but I like the ferrets better. Just before Klik got his ferrets, I was questioning why he wanted one, and the biting. The cages are pretty expensive for these guys, too. My husband would absolutely kill me if I bought anymore pets.
Yup, the threads were locked temporarily while we worked out what we were going to do. Somebody was posting copyrighted articles & images from another website and claiming they were their own. The two ferret threads have now been merged together into one.
Janice, ferets can and do bite, but I compare it to cats. It's all highly dependent on temperments, socialisation, mood, etc. Some can be downright stinkers, but many are just loving little bundles of fun. Mine are 10% the former, and 90% the latter. Most of the time they just play, explore, and love... but I've been nipped once or twice. It doesn't hurt enough for me to mind, and it sure doesn't hurt my feelings. If the ones at the petstore were biting, I'd be willing to bet they were probably play biting. Ferrets can be tons of fun and great pets. They are cute, playful, michevious, loving, curious, and just FUN. They have been domesticated as pets for as long as cats, if not longer. They are, however, quite a handful. It takes a specific type of owner who is willing to practically re-arrange their home to accomidate these animals, who can get into just about anything they set their minds to. It is very worth it though, I think they are a very special type of pet.
whoa....7 pages on ferrets....i thought the Silkworm thread was big... my neighbor has a ferret that can do backflips...its pretty kool...he does them off the couch....jumps onto the couch than flips off and keeps doing that for about 10 min....than sleeps for about 3 days to recover from the dizzyness...lol
