Well I just found baby number 3, just a little over a week after baby #2 appeared. It has gotten to the point that I am going to have to get a bigger nursery tank (I'm using a 10 gallon right now). I am in the middle of rearranging my reptile room as I build a new enclosure for my Tegus, so I think I am going to also take this opportunity to build an Anole 'kennel' and start getting serious about breeding.
RE: They lol congradulations, I just found 2 more eggs on my bahaman cage, unfortunately my first hatchling didn't make it, I'm not sure why He was eating good. Hope it all goes wel, got any pics??
RE: They There's a pic in my gallery of the first little guy, who's about a month and half old now. I don't have any good pics of my new ones, they're so small it is really hard to them in focus. I have never actually seen an egg, but my adults are in a 55 gallon with lots of live plants so there is really no way for me to go on an Easter egg hunt without stressing them out or risk hurting the egg. Sorry to hear about your loss. What were you feeding? I have had a lot of luck so far with fruit flies.
RE: They I was feeding fruit flies, I can't get crickets small enough. I wouldn't have found the eggs, except I was adding some more fake vines to the tank, and I took out their branch, and when I was putting it back in I was moving the soil back around the base of it I saw an egg roll over, so I was cussing and picked it up, and looked around for more, I found another in the same area, so i took them inside and candled them to try to get them right side up and put them in a container, the first one I found appears to be swollen like its close to hatching and I couldn't find an air pocket, so I hope I got it right side up, the other isn't as far along, and still showed an air pocket. hopefully they will hatch alright.
