Hi, I saw these in my local pet store when going to buy my snake and thought they look pretty cool. Am thinking about getting some but would like some more info so i am sure i want them. Got a couple of questions so any help would be good. 1) I dont have alot of space, what is the smallest tank i can keep them in? 2) What do they eat? Do they have to eat live food, crickets..ect? 3) Do they like water? Could i mix them with tropical fish? Thanks. Mark.
Hello Mark, welcome to the site. 1) The minimum they can be kept in is a 10 gallon. Remember thats for ONE anole. 2) Yes, they need live food. I find a staple of crix (dusted obviously) works best. They don't eat much on the whole. 3) This should not be done, no. They need humidity, but would drown in an all water enclosure. Also make sure you have UV lighting for them. Hope this helps, any more questions, do not hesitate to ask. Luke
Thanks for your advice, I dont think i will get one yet then as i have only just got a snake and sounds like a little more upkeep than i have the time for at the mo. Maybe i will get one in the future. thanks.
