My gf is thinking about getting a Tokay, I was wondering if I could see some pictures of your enclosures, and if you all had any advice or good care sheets about enclosures and diet, and such. Thanks.
plenty of foliage required and tall and big as you can, they like to jump, and mine uses every inch of his
very aggressive by nature, though people have tamed their tokays over time, chances are he will not like you. great animal for nighttime observing. deff my favorite gecko.
handling is an issue due to biting and they have killer jaw muscles so you can struggle to get them to let go a thick pair of gloves will sort that out, and if you get them young you can tame them ok mine never tries to bite me, even when i am picking him up etc sometimes he barks at me if i spray him by accident
Yeh, unless you want your hands to be gushing with blood, most tokays aren't good handlers lol, unless you can get a CB baby, which is another story, although you aren't 100% guarenteed to tame it, there's just a better chance.
