    I got some anoles,
    So small yet so great,
    With their Dewlaps Flapping,
    their substrate was Slate,

    1 Male and 1 Female,
    They were quite a pair,
As they hunted as loose cricket,
All i could do was Stare,

    With their energy and vigor,
    they made a great pet,
as they basked in the sun,
    while it slowly set.

    One day it happened,
    Something was not right,
    They were breathing heavily,
    What a horrible sight,

    I was very scared,
    I felt sick as well,
    The problem was hidden,
    I just could not tell

I slept on the the problem,
About the lizards i had had,
When I Woke Up they Were Dead,
    O So Sad,

    In the past month,
    I have wondered why,
    Now I must be strong,
    And I Cannot Cry.

    Ill give it another shot,
    A second Chance Indeed,
    With some Geckos,
    That I really Need.

    So that Is their Story,
    And I learned alot,
    About how a Life,
    Cannot Be Bought.

I am deeply sorry about your loss. I know what it is like to wonder if you have done something wrong or if it was just their time. Im sure that you will do great with your new geckos.
