Ok...my Uro was doing her usual today running all over and digging to china when I heard a loud sond in her tank. So when I looked she had her cave that she hides in in her mouth and was picking it up and slamming it to the ground!! Now it's a pretty decent size hide if u cut and paste the link below you can see some pics of her and see her hide. Then she started ripping off the sides with her mouth. I think she ate some but I couldnt really tell. I hope it dosent hurt her. She hasnt been eating alot I have tried everyhting to get her to eat but she wont. She did eat one endive leaf right after the strange incident, Is this normal for them to do that? When I say that I mean picking large things up and slamming them down, it does not seem to be normal to me...lol. Thanks.
Don't have a clue how to help you with this. I would not think picking up the hide and slamming it down would be normal. Any chance she might have thought there was food under there? Does she like crickets? You might want to try some to see if she gets her appitite back. For those trying to look at the page, you need to change the link. Actually she eats crickets...lol...thats all she will eat, I stopped giving them to her. Now I feel bad cause she will not eat any greens. Today she did eat a peice of endive, so maybe she is comming around. and thank you for noticing the link....lol...my bad. :roll:
