Where do most Uros come from? Have owned a leopard gecko for about a year and am thinking about a Uro but I want captive bred only animals. Personal decision not to buy animals that are wild-caught. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well, most uros in pet stores are wild caught, unless it says "CB" or captive bred right on the tank. If you ask a sales person there if the uro was cb or not and they don't seem to know, assume it was wild caught.

Uro breeders are the only place you can go to know that they are for sure captive bred, and even then some will sell wild caught ones they've imported, but they will tell you if it is or not. I know deerfernfarms.com is a reputable breeder and another website called uromastyx utopia is good too. Good luck.
