UVB Light

    is it true that even if you have a UVB light you still should take them out for an hour?We bout a UVB light for $50.00 Could someone tell me of a website that sells them cheaper Than $50.00?Because that is pretty high for me

    $50 for a mercury vapor or a large fluorescent? For fluorescents here, they tend to cost around a dollar per inch of bulb. But stuff is a tad cheaper where I live. Mercury vapor bulbs are always expensive, finding one at $50 is actually a decent price since they can be marked up to $60.

    And yes, if you can take your tortoise outside or even house it outside, then do so. Nothing compares to natural sunlight.
