    My First Snake Movie -- A Ringed Python's "Feeding Response"

    BTW, The snake was on our coffee table for the camera, I put a towel down so she could get some scoot grip as she made her strike. That's the only time she'll ever eat on a towel, I'd worry about her teeth getting caught in it. She's just a baby, ~18 inches, 5 months.

    Got her from http://www.ectotherms.net/ (they were present at the Sacramento Reptile Expo, so I was able to buy her in person).

    I paid $175 at the expo, but it looks like he has one on his site for $150. They're fairly rare and information can be hard to come by -- fun snake though. Google around for:

    Ring Python
    Ringed Python
    Bismarck Ringed Python

    That is an awsome looking snake. BTW you did a great job on that video. I especily liked the fast forwarding while he was swallowing. Well Done.
