This is my Uro. A few days ago I noticed that he has lost his colour half way down his body. I think it must be shedding but I wonder why only half!? I know in the past he has shed only on different limbs at a time but never like this. Is it a normal thing? Has anyone else's Uro's shed like this? Also, I have noticed a spike on his tail is much whiter than the rest. Can anyone tell me what this might be I read around the forum and thought it could be covered in dead skin that has failed to come off after his last shed so I tried to remove it myself but it is stuck on hard so I'm worried it could be tail rot. thanks
Yep, he's just shedding...most Uro's don't shed evenly...my guy shed his back, and then his front legs, and then his tail, and then his back legs...he still hasn't shed his tummy, or upper body/head area... very cute lil guy!!
