So Zombie, how did you like the camera? I did mention I got the camera and everything for free right? Grandma updated and I got this
I thought it was pretty good really, i got some nice shots with it (now long lost). But, it can deffinatly give great quality pics. Enjoying the nikon atm though, Lol.
I just upgraded to a Sony DSC-H1 from a Sony DSC-P31 yesterday evening. Been a while since I've had a feature rich camera so I'm gonna have to play around with it. Got a nice long zoom and super close macro (3/4"), I love the SLR cameras
I either use a concord eye 3042AF (old, got it for $40 bucks new though ) or my Kodak Easyshare CX6230, which was my sisters, until she dropped it, and it broke, and she got a new one, so i fixed it and its good as new now
I use a Digital Rebel with a Canon 28-200 f3.5-5.6 lens. I am hoping to get either a Canon 20D or 5D depending on my friend that is going to China this summer.
We use a Canon Digital Rebel XT right now, but started with just a Canon Digital Elph 3.2... the elph was a really great camera and although it doesn't have all the features of the Rebel, I think they were very competitive of each other. When people found out I was shooting with an elph, no one believed it.
I've got a piece 'o crap Kodak Advantix - it was cheap when I needed a camera - but I'm saving for a Nikon
Current update on what I shoot with: -Nikon D50 35mm Body -Sigma 28-70mm f2.8-4 DG -Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO Macro
I shoot with a 5.0 Megapixel Canon Powershot SD400 http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controlle...p;modelid=11158 and a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controlle...p;modelid=11154
I just got a Rebel XT with the lens kit about a week ago, and sold my Powershot G6, looking to get a few good lenses for it soon.

I use a Kodak DX6490 and like it alot but im saving up to get a Nikon D50 or D70. The kodak works great and has taken tons of great pic for me but i think its time to step it up a lil and get something better. Im not sure which to get tho the 50 or the 70. I know the 70 is better but how much better? is worth the price difference?
Being a Canon User, I'm not really the best person to give an opinion on Nikon, but here is what I do know. The D50, in my eyes, is an improvement on the D70. The D50 came out after the D70, I think to compete with the Rebel XT. The Canon 20D and Nikon D70 where basically on the same level. Nikon did not have an entry DSLR. The D50 is an improvement on the D70 because it has a quieter shutter, has a factory battery grip (which the D70 doesn't), and truthfully, I like the D50 better. Now, if you want to get better than the D50, I'd skip the D70 all together and go with the D200. The main reason that I went with Canon, is becasue I wasn't thrilled with the D70 at all, and there was no D50, which didn't matter, since I jumped into the 20D by Canon.
My best stuff I do with a Canon A1 I've used since 1984. For lenses, I use either a 70-210 macro-zoom, or a 35-105 zoom.
