    This is a scan from a book of mine. There is no text describing the picture, nor is the picture mentioned in the image credits. Does anyone know what it is?

    i saw something that looked alot like that at the zoo a few months ago, i cant remember what it was called but i think it was a type of skink

    I thought it looked like a skink too. My best guess is a prehensile tailed skink, although the colors don't seem 100% right. Unless anyone comes up with something better, that's what I'm going with I guess.

    That looks a lot like the Giant Solomon Island Skink... I only know bc I saw it at the zoo and thought it was a pretty odd skink b/c they are the only ones that have adapted to actually living IN trees...
