What type of bridseed do I buy?

    What type of bird seed should I buy for my uro? I was told iguanna pellets can be used instead?

    millet bird seed, it doesn't have sunflower seeds

    I haven't heard or read anything about iguana pellets but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if it were true.

    I feed finch seed to Koda, it helps sometimes to soak the birdfood in some warm water to soften the shells a little

    I agree, finch seed is the best kind to use. It is the formula that has the most millets in it. As far as iguana food goes, i wouldn't recommend using it. There have been many reports of particular iguana foods that give uros scaly mouths. I know some types are safer than others, but in my personal opinion, you should try to give more natural fresh substances rather than processed foods. If your uro is not eating try sprinkling some red lentils on top of the green. However, you should remember to limit the amout of lentils given for they are very high in protein.
