I have 2 leucistic texas rats and 2 corns. The other rat is about 2 months old and I'm handling him all the time to get him tame but he is nasty right now. The corns,of course, are sweet little babies.

Are rats active snakes or are they hiders? Just curious, Ive never owned a rat. I always thought they were alot like corns just bigger?

Mine is also pretty active, especially at night when the lights are dimmed. My corns do hide a lot. I use aspen in their enclosures because they like to dig in it. I just switched to reptile carpet for my rats because they hate the aspen. My female will hover over her water bowl to keep off of it...lol

    Boas boas and more boas

Remember the Dunkin doughnuts guy on the commerical " it's time to make the doughnuts"

Well here in the wee hours of the morning it kind of goes like this

" rats rats it's time to thaw some rats". lol

I have in the past worked with different snakes but now just stick to Bci's and I am working to create a line of Colombians that are very light with very high pinks that keep thier light colors to adulthood. Two litters this year that just scream. I am close very close and with a new male in wating for this season next year might be the year the goal is met.
