On Friday I went out and bought some *small* crickets.. and today when I went in to give them fresh food and clean out the enclosure, I noticed 2 *humongo* crickets! One transparent and the other one a sort of "pearl" colour. Their wings were HUGE. And here's me like.. o_O;;; I was staring at them for almost 10 minutes! These things are SCARY!!! I hate crickets...

So, are these things mutants or what? They're too big to feed to my baby, but is it okay if I feed them to my geckos?

Don't know about them being Huge, but crickets that just shed are creamy white color - you really notice their black eyes at this time and the wings look kinda shriveled up and funny looking. Could that be it? When they're white like that, they're actually better to feed 'cause it means that their exoskeleton haven't hardened yet - easier to digest.
