Worried about my plant choice...

I am planing on getting a veiled chameleon. He will be my first chameleon, but not my first lizard. I'm buying bit by bit until my cage is complete. I have purchased marbled pothos and creeping fig (ficus pumila) for my plants. I am worried about the creeping fig. Will it be ok for my cham? I know ficus benjamina is the best, but will my creeping fig work?
