i feed mine twice a day, i have two feeding options,,
7 am and 1:00 pm or 7 am and 10:00 pm for overnight feeding when the lights are out, which is better? or is it even okay to feed them overnight?

i dont think it really matters when you feed them, as long as they are getting food and staying alive.

If you're trying to get them to grow fast because they're too small to feed off or you want to breed them then that's fine. If not, I'd cut that back to once a day. Sometimes mine get fed in the morning, sometimes at lunch and sometimes, if I happen to be up, they're fed in the middle of the morning!

let me change this one up a bit....
I just ordered some silkworms for my juvie leo, and am wondering how many and how big I should be feeding her. She's about 6" long right now. I don't have a scale so I can't give a weight. That's next on the equipment shopping list.
They only had the 0.5-1" size, so I got those thinking that too small is better than too big.
I've heard you can feed worms that are bigger than meal/super worms, as silkworms don't have jaws and are soft. True?
I'm sure I'll be posting next week about how things go.
