hey all, recently its come to my attention that a friend of the family is moving states and doesnt want to take his spotted python with him.

Im not entirely sure what the process is but im looking at getting a licence and adopting the snake, the only problem is that he *ISNT* licenced, and the snake isnt on any records.

While I really want to adopt the snake and have researched exactly what i need to look after him, i dont want to get my mate into trouble with the law, what are my options here?

Hmm...all I can find is that even with the liscense it would be illegal for you to take the snake from your friend. Sorry I can't really help :) Hopefully someone else can.
