agressive sav

    my sav is appx. 7 mos. old and to me it seems like its very agressive. doesnt like to be held or handled at all. is this common, do they get calmer with age or am i just doin something wrong?

    I've never seen an aggressive monitor, but I've seen lots of defensive ones. Yes, that's normal - to start with. Most improve with time if treated properly.
    If your monitor is acting like it doesn't want to be held but you still try to hold it, you'll only make it more defensive. Try to leave it alone, offer it food on tongs and slowly encourage it to come to you rather than you grab it. It takes a lot of patience to get a monitor to be okay around people but forcing the situation will not help any.
