So a short time ago somebody left a box turtle at my front door in a cardboard box. He was not fed properly and probably didnt recieve the right lighting leaving him with an overgrown beak and his shell seems a bit too small for him. Despite this the little guy is full of spirit and I hate to give him up but it would not be fair for me to keep him as my living arangments dont allow him the space he needs. This has happened to me once before with my ball python. Somebody left two in a box with my name in it at work while I was away on vacation. Never found out who it was and one passed away before I recieved the sealed box. Now someone (the same person?) has left this little guy on my front step. I'm relived to say he's just been adopted out to a good home in the area.
At this point in my life, nothing that humans do should suprise me. It happens every day none the less. Glad he went to a good home.
