Try leaving him completely alone for a few days and see if he won't eat. You may be stressing him out.

yeah sometimes if you hold a new snake too much they get sorta nervous, and especially after you first get them. you have to give them time to get used to their new environment.

Im just read this topic and im stunned, people actually keep anacondas as pets?!? surely these things are only suitable for zoos. I mean these snakes take out things far larger then humans? How do u handle something like that?

True that eh blake? I love annies, but will probably never get one. Hows your annie doing blake? Still on a hunger strike? My burmese has been on one for a few weeks now :( he's still little. why can't he just eat?

I don't know, my two burms weren't very good eaters for a while at first, but now they are the craziest eaters I have... and yes, my annie is still on a bit of a strike...

    Your Green Anaconda

Im sorry , But by your posts you really made a bad decision by buying this Green Anaconda. Its just way too much of a snake for you . Your other snakes died from the cold... they were little ball pythons... This snake isnt a beginner snake. You obviously dont know how to care for it. If I were you , I would surrender the snake to an experienced keeper with the room and requirements this snake needs. Its from South America and this sneeds to be replicated.
