My male leo has had his hemipenal out for about a whole day. What can I do to have it go back in him? I don't want anything bad to happen PLEASE HELP
I agree with axe, the sooner you get to a vet the better. If you wait too long and the hemipenis drys out you may have to have it amputated. He may have damaged it and is not able to get it back in, sometimes they have to do a small suture to guarintee that it stays in, and only a qualified vet should do this. I just recieved my reptiles magazine yesturday and they had a good article in there about it.
