I was asking if you knew some one who wanted her, I didnt expect you to be able to take her. Jimmety Cricket is getting on his normal diet so I will be able to sell him to Autumn soon. It is her first reptile so I will moniter her, but I think she shouldnt have a problem with him. Next time I buy a reptile, it will not, under any circumstances, be from a pet store.

If you know any one who wants her, just tell me.

Did you get these two from a pet store? What store?
We got the Twins from our local Petco, and they're fabulously healthy. but we got the original 4 from 2 teenagers who were trying to get into a reptile expo, and we dunno what their background was, but it was NOT good, clearly. ^^'

And no yeah, if you want I can post information about her on FB, but most of my FB friends aren't into lizards. *sigh* But if you give me her age, and a picture, I can put it up there just in case! I dunno anyone else in your area, unfortunately.

Jimmety Cricket I got from Petsmart and Candy I got from Petco.

I really do hate people who sell unhealthy reptiles cause you know they are probably trying to make a quick buck. Either that or they just choose not to take care of their reptile.

And no thx, I try to limit where my information goes so it is easier for me to keep track of.

And I really am going to miss Candy. I get so attached to my animals in a matter of days and I am extremely stressed out. I am going to try to find a friend who can take care of her so that I can still see her. If not, I really will have no choice.

And they sold you unhealthy reptiles that were wild caught? D: I guess I always thought those big stores got theirs from breeders or something, I didn't know they also sold wild caught ones, since all of theirs are always such young lizards. I guess I got lucky then, we've gotten 5 of the 12 lizards we've had total from pet stores. (the rest were from breeders, friends, or elsewhere, and then our gopher snake Thor we wild caught ourselves before we learned we weren't supposed to do that)

And okay, I understand that. : O I'll keep my ears peeled for anyone who might be interested though. I hope you can find a close home though!

Big chain pet stores get theirs from dealers, which either catch them wild caught or from these breeding services that inbreed and breed too often. In the end, Petco, Petsmart, and Citypets arent good stores.

I have a possible buyer that lives close by. It would be better than shipping her because she gets extremely stressed out by the tiniest of things. Like once the dogs got up stairs some how and Candy was hiding on the highest shelf in the corner and she wouldnt eat for two days afterwards. Shipping would do a number on her so I think I will try and limit her to people who live closer to where I dont have to ship.

Wow, well, I guess I learned something new today. I've been lucky so far. : O I have thought that in the future I'd like to buy reptiles from breeders specifically because I'd know the background, since I didn't know the BG of our original 4 CWD's, and theirs was evidently particularly horrible, and it's killed all but one of them so far, and that's certainly taken its toll on me, although I know we gave them the best we possibly could have. Learning this just cements my decision. : O

Well that's good, I hope it works out! Shipping can be pretty stressful, and that will be better for her. And for you, since maybe you'll get to see her as she grows up! : D

I dont even like to buy crickets from there to be honest. They take no care whatsoever in any of their animals.

I hope so two, I would really like to be able to still be with her. Even though it would be kinda awkward me coming there since I dont really even know the guy. Total stranger. He said he may buy her, I dont know yet, I am waiting for his reply.

Maybe, since you don't know him, you could request weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, to make sure Candy's going to a good home, and all that, and then on those visits you can befriend him, so that it's not weird to keep going back to see her after a while. >; D (if he does buy her, that is) Muahaha!

Maybe... I will do monthly check ups, like I planned to, but he is about 30 years older than me. I am a year younger than you and he is 32 years older than that (I know that from his oodle account (once I missed spelt it oogle and it sent me to a porn site. DO NOT misspell it! I am scard forever)) so it would be still kinda awkward. Plus, he is in a financial ditch two so he said he might have to pass on it but he will consider the possibility.

Oh, well, maybe not then. : O That means he's old enough to be your dad or your teacher. XD I wonder how old some of my teachers are. My dad's 65, now. : D My GD1 teacher likes to talk about being old, but she looks like she's my mom's age (53) and I don't really count that as old. XD Older than me, but not old lady. She's such a cool teacher.

Has there been any other signs of interest from other people?

I am the oldest sibling in my family so my parents dont have that big of an age difference from me. I cant say because I dont know my parent's age. They had me in their twenties so a twenty year age difference? And he said that he has other reptiles he has to take care of and he cant afford it. I live about two houses down from him and I saw that he had a HUGE cage in his backyard full of Asian Water Moniters. He had about five in there maybe, and I am just wondering how many reptiles he has in his house.

Yeah, I was normally (Normally meaning I got into a couple of fights over the stupidest things. If you touch me, you gotta learn I'll either kick you where the sun dont shine or punch you in the chest depending on your gender) the good student so I had a lot of cool teachers. Straight A's, never talked back even when I didnt want to do something, and I never talked in class. It is weird how my favorite teachers were other peoples most hated teachers. I hated Algebra though so none of my favorite teachers were in that catogory. At lunch, people just started giving me their unwanted food because no matter how much food I ate, I always was hungry. When I am hungry, I always ask, "Are you going to eat that?". That is tied directly to my health problems btw. I didnt eat enough zinc and sodium so my digestive system was a mess and my body forced myself to eat more food since I couldnt obtain the proper nutrients needed to be healthy. And than that is tied to my seizures and temperary blindness (I am not blind, I just cant see some times out of random but it goes away in a minute or two). I still have that problem btw, but it is under control now that I know what was causing the seizures and temperary blindness (which started in kindergarten).

And nope, I get people interested but they make up an excuse not to buy her. I am not blaming them when I say excuse, but I have had people saying everything than what i wanted to hear because they cant afford it. I will keep trying though.

Oh, well, I guess the age difference is more with me cuz my dad had all us kids really late, and then once they started having kids they had all of us really close together. XD My sisters and I are all 2 years away from each other. XD
I bet he had his hands full then! I do really hope you find some more possible prospects for her!

I tend to get along pretty well with my teachers. I just didn't get along with the HW. Until I went to art school! XD Now I've gotten my butt in gear. I sure never got straight A's though, that's darn cool! : D
I was never violent though, I was just the weird artistic girl who loved reptiles and bugs and dinosaurs. XD I fit right in at my school, now. XD Cep I'm still the girl who loves reptiles. I was surprised to learn my ID1 teacher grew up with snakes, and that a classmate has a big tortoise currently, it makes me pretty happy to know I'm not the only reptile lover at school! : D

The only time I've experience temporary blindness, it was literally because I was in elementary school and I decided to close my eyes and start walking. XD I walked straight into a drainage pipe and gave myself a goose egg! I too love food though. My family are all big on eating lots of awesome food, although I used to be more of a bottomless pit than I am now. XD Good times, when I could eat so much.I'm glad that you're able to understand the problems and how to take care of yourself when they arise. Never hurts to be prepared! Is it weird that I don't really know a ton about you, but I still feel really proud of you? XD

And at least I guess it's better for them to say they can't afford it (or anything else that basically boils down to the same thing) than say they can and then find out only later. : / I do hope someone works out for the whole thing though.

Me and my brother and sisters are kinda close. My brother is two years younger than me, my sister three years younger than me, and my other sister is 8 years younger than me. When I said close, I did not mean we are friendly towards each other. I remember a few weeks ago I was chasing my brother with a plank of wood when he hit me on the back of the head with a guitar hero (I didnt hit him, just the door and left a nasty hole). I am just easily provoked is all and I dont know how to control my anger when it reaches a certain point.

Well five asian water monitors is a lot to care for, and I am sure he has more in his house and a beagle that I see him walk when it isnt too cold.

I only had fights with my siblings most of the time, not students because I tried to control my anger most of the time. I had one fight with another student, but it was over in one kick.

Lucky! I never found another reptile lover in school! I was the only one I knew of.

Lol, seriously? When I was in 1st grade I decided to tie my shoe laces together and pretend some one pranked me. Teacher got on to me in a heart beat. I normally eat the equivalent of one whole little ceasers pizza. I have good genes so I am always as thin as a twig, never once got fat. You can be proud of an olympic runner and it not be weird so I guess it isnt. It took the docters six years to find out what was wrong with me so it was a mess. SO MUCH NEEDLES

Oh and we found some one, Ultimate Reptile Shop said they would take her, no problem. Going to drop her off today, I am going to miss her.

Wow. XD My sisters and I are close as in friendly. And age-wise. Unfortunately, they aren't so close location-wise anymore, since my oldest sister moved to San Jose (not too bad, but the train ride is long enough I can't manage it with my HW schedule) and my middle sister moved to Redding. (several hours away) I guess I can't blame them though, I don't think I'll live in the Bay Area my whole life. If I do, at the very least I won't be in San Bruno. I love where we live, how close to everything we are, but freaking poop the weather is so windy and cold! XD
I've never ever fought with classmates, or even physically fought with my sisters. We tussled when we were young, but it was always in fun. We grew up in a weird situation with a lot of negativity, so we all kinda grew up relying on each other and all that. Worked out pretty well, I guess! We're all kinda crazy, but life sure is grand! 8D

I do feel lucky that my teacher grew up with reptiles. That was like...an unexpected bonus. I felt like cheering. XD

And yep, seriously! haha, kids come up with the silliest ideas. XD Sounds like we were in on that! Good times!

Byeck, needles. I remember getting shots in the spine, when I had leukemia, but thankfully that's one of the few memories. I know there were a lot more needles, but I'm super glad I don't remember much from that time! Wait..I don't remember much from hardly any time. XD Haha. I wonder what I had for lunch yesterday. OH YEAH LASAGNA! And soup! My friend made the lasagna. It was DELICIOUS. My teacher walked into class and asked how everyone was, so I said 'my friend made lasagna and I just ate it out of this cup. I'm REALLY HAPPY.' and she was like 'okay. Heather's in a happy-lasagna mood.' 8D And to top it off, the room smelled GREAT afterwards. Now I'm hungry. XD [/foodfoodfoodfoodfoodfood]

oooh, yaaaay! Well at least you found a good place for her! Hang in there, it's tough to lose any pet, but at least she's still out there, and you know she's being well taken care of! : D

Me and my brother just never seen eye to eye. It is weird because one day we would be as close as siblings can be, and the next we would be at eachothers throats. Normally I do something like... walk into his room and he throws a hissy fit. I try to hold the beardies and he acts like I just insulted him. Oh btw, is it normal for a beardie to sleep pressed to the wall of the enclosure? I just found her sleeping that, I took a pic on my phone.

I lied above, I was forgetting my algebra teacher, Mr. Harris. He is now on my list of teachers because when I came into his room one day, crying because I was losing my reptiles (when I say I get attached to them within a day, I dont lie), he beat out of me why I was crying. After that, he gave me an anery sand boa (he breeds several different morphs) free of charge. Of course I had to get supplies myself before I took him home, but it cost me less than $40 because a lot of my friends gave me some stuff for a discount price (and some pinkies for free). Now he is in a ten gallon cage and is beautiful. I named him Kamau, a kenyan name meaning "silent warrior" (perfect description of a snake).

I loved my early childhood because I did the weirdest things. Like in Kindergarten, my birthday was on Sunday so the school called me up on Friday to get a birthday pencil, which made me think my birthday was on Friday. I kept arguing with my mom that my birthday was on Friday and not Sunday XD

I remember in Kindergarten (I have A LOT of weird memories in Kindergarten), when I passed out in front of the entire class and taken to the E.R., it took maybe nine nurses to hold my down when the docter pulled out a HUGE needle. Then I watched in fascination as he drew my blood. Three times.

Would you be suprised if I said I didnt take her? I still have her and have three people interested (all friends). One wants her and another does as well, and they both made up their minds around the same time and I am confused who to give her to.

Yeah, even my sisters and I had arguments and all that. XD In general we were pretty good though. I do remember one time though, I was on the swivel chair we had at the time, and I was wearing a HUGE sweatshirt that my dad had brought home from work (he never wore sweatshirts, so he just gave it to us, since they gave them away at work for the employees to wear) and I was sleepy, so I put my head down on my knees (I was all curled up on the chair) and my middle sister came up behind me, and we were just fine, she was actually trying to be really nice, so she slowly spun the chair, and I guess it somehow got me, because I blacked out for a second, fell off, hit my head on the desk corner, and then woke up a split second before I hit the floor. XD We were so astonished! I've never done that before or after, but it was pretty funny! I didn't even know I'd hit my head until I brushed my hair later and there was a cut right at the edge of my hair. XD Oops!
This other time she had a bamboo stick she'd gotten from a school project, and she was whooshing it through the air to show my oldest sister the really cool noise, and I walked in right behind her without realizing what was going on, and she hit me in the head with the stick. XD
Another time she sat down on the edge of the bed while I was on the floor right next to her, and her weight made the books right next to her tip off and fall on my head. XD Oops.
But none of those times were intentional, they were all accidents. XD

Awww, that's so nice of your teacher! My oldest sister had a teacher in Middle College who bred beardies, that's where they got Baby, for my 17th birthday. He was the biggest of the whole clutch. I actually really liked that they got him from her teacher, because I was able to get in contact with her later to ask when he hatched exactly, so I knew his real birthday. I had to guess for Brother and Auzzie. Speaking of which, Auzzie'll be 2 soon! (on the 19th!) Yaaayyyy!!!!
I once cried in front of one of my AAU teachers, because Mellow (our biggest CWD, one of the original 4 who had terrible backgrounds, he started having seizures and then died shortly after, it was very traumatic) passed away the day before, and then the morning before class a huge spider surprised me and I had a full out panic attack. It was so bad I didn't know what else to do besides call my BF, and I could barely even do that. : / I still feel bad for it cuz he drove over and killed it for me. I shoulda just pulled myself together and smashed it, but I just couldn't. Then he took BART with me to school (Bay Area Rapid Transit, the subway train) and I was half an hour late to class. : / I was all ready to stay the rest of the class, but the moment I tried to explain myself to Hake, I started crying, cuz it was all so upsetting. He sent me right back home, which actually turned out to be better, cuz I spent the day with my BF and that cheered me up. I was really grateful to my teacher for being so understanding.
Wow, I just told a really depressing story. XD

Hahaha! You have such awesome kindergarten stories! I wish I remembered mine more. XD I do remember finding a dixie cup of half frozen milk outside on morning. It was naaaaasty. XD We squished it and it was gross.

Oh, really? : O Well, if they're friends, I guess that goes back to the good thing of hopefully getting to still see her! I guess do a careful evaluation of both and decide who can take better care of her that way? : O

Hello Lisa! I like your picture, what a pretty leo!

Yeah, me and my brother had touching moments, accidental, and intentional moments. I will name one of each. Once, my brother was thinking he was dieing (he had a bad fever was all), so I spent the entire day trying to comfert him by reading him stories, watching his favorite movies with him (which were my least favorite at the time, now I love those old disney movies), and playing video games with him. He got better a few days later, and after that he never wailed, "Im dieing! Im dieing!" again.
Another moment my brother and I were shooting the BB gun in the back yard (this was recently) like we always did, and I went over to fix the target cause I knocked it over. When I bent down, my brother accidently shot me in the leg and I swear I never cussed so much in my life (they were metal BBs, but they didnt break the skin, only hurt). I fell into the goldfish pond (none of the fish were hurt) cause I didnt want to walk on my leg and my dogs tripped me. Terrible day for me.
And lastly, I was maybe 13 and I was singing to Toby Keith and my brother came in and turned off the radio or something, so I chased him with a plank of wood and hit it hard against the door. It left a HUGE hole and my brother took the fall for me and he got grounded, so we have our good times and bad times like any other family.

Yeah, he is a good guy. I still dont like algebra though. Just never like math, it was hard for me to learn. Some stuff stook and some didnt.

I am going to add one more story. In the 7th grade, me and my friends, Sally and Tamy, were playing tennis and I was standing behind Tamy and she was getting ready to swing and threw back her racket, hitting me in the eye. I was yelling so badly and I was actually bleeding my eyes out (literally). My parents took me to the E.R. and the docter said it was no more than a bad black eye and sent me home.

Tell him I said Happy B-day (My neighbors think its crazy when I would talk to animals. It was just a way for me to relieve stress without word of what I said getting around).

I remembered my friend having an emotional break down for her ferret so I had to drive all the way to the other side of Houston a few weeks ago (About an hour long drive, an hour and a half for me because some one got into a bad wreck. One car was upside down in a river and one upside down. I know at least one person died, it was on the local news), drive her to Wendy's (she loves those Frosties and so do I), and then I had to drive her back after a talk (we must have looked so weird, she was snuggled in a snuggie and had bunny slippers on), then drive all the way back to my house. She was a MESS. If you ever meet Hailey, dont tell her I said any of that paragraph, she will hunt me down and skin me alive.

I was just a weird kid. Once, there was this kid named Carley (my name is Karlee as you know) and she was a lot smarter than me so I got jealous. I thought she was out to get me or something just because she shared the same name as me, and than it didnt help when I was jealous. I never spoke to her but I would like to apologize because I would insult her and give her mean looks in the halls.

Another time was when we were out on the playground and I was playing in the sand and didnt hear the whistle to go inside, so I was playing outside for an hour before I was wondering where every one went. I snuck back in class and no one punished me for it, ever.

Oh and another time was when I was chewing gum and you know the no chewing policy, well my teacher said, "Karlee, no gum in class." I said, "Im not chewing gum". "Ok then, open your mouth." So I opened my house and clearly had a chunk of bubble gum sitting on my tongue and she said, "You have gum, Karlee, go spit it out." So I took it out of my mouth and stuck it in Robin's (a friend of mine, that was her nickname) hair and got in so much trouble.

Aww, fevers are scary sometimes. I've had two times when I got so sick and had such a high fever that I just slept all day and night, and whenever I got up I'd drink something and go right back to sleep. I remember being so weak I could barely walk, let alone unscrew the cap on the milk. D: I didn't think I was gonna die (prolly cuz I was in my late teens at the time, and the thought just didn't happen to occur to me) but I did cry cuz I needed help just to open the milk. XD

Ouch! D: Wow, I've never had a black eye in my life. I did get hit square between the eyes once with a badminton birdie, that was pretty funny though. XD Everyone was like 'OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OKAY' and I was just laughing cuz it didn't hurt at all. The rackets hurt though. And tennis has way heavier rackets. Which is actually why I like badminton more, cuz I can actually handle the rackets, and I don't have to worry about a ball flying at me at high speeds. XD

I will! She's grown so much since I first got her. I can't wait until she's as big as Baby though. Although actually she's getting more and more like Brother, cuz she's a little fatty. (I just typo'd and accidentally called her a little fart. I guess it's about right, cuz she poops anywhere, basking log included, so she's a little stinker. XD Farts are incredibly hilarious to me though, so I just randomly exploded into laughter about it!)

I never eat at Wendy's, but I have had their frosties. Delicious. Hailey is a very pretty name. : D So is Karlee, actually. I actually like your spelling better than Carley, no offense to Carley. XD Was her ferret okay?
My BF is really good to me though. just recently I had a panic attack cuz I thought randomly that Baby was going to get cancer and die just like Brother, since he'd been under his log for several days, so I woke up at 5:20am, waited til 6am, texted my dad (I was at my BF's) to have him check Baby for weight loss and all that, and then stayed awake, stressing out and freaking out until 7:12/7:15am when my dad called back. I woke Zee up several times, but he was really understanding. He's also understanding every time I have a dream and ask him if he's okay while I'm still asleep. XD He's just fine every time.

One time I got stuck up on top of the monkey bars at the end of lunch break in elementary school. D: The teachers never even noticed that my being gone was a problem, because everyone switched classes-they just assumed I was home sick that day, without checking. My dad happened to come by early that day to pick me up for some appointment or something, and when he found out I wasn't in class, he walked through the entire school shouting for me (he has an incredibly loud voice that really carries, and he sure knows how to use it) and I was so happy when he found me and saved me from the evil monkey bars. : D He's such a good dad. He was really pissed at my teachers after that, but I don't remember it. I was just really glad he found me. XD I dunno how long I was up there, but I think it was probably only 30-45 minutes, since classes weren't that long back then, but of course it felt like forever.

I remember later in college ceramics class, someone wiped a thumbfull of wet clay on my back while I was throwing on a wheel. I never did find out who did it, but I didn't mind at all, because before I was done it had dried, and then it came off my back super easily. XD Gum is much more tenacious.

Yikes. I remember on my 8th birthday, I woke up at three in the morning, wailing and crying and throwing up every where. My mom was so worried for me she called our neighbors over at 3 IN THE MORNING (suprisingly she came). She took me to the E.R. and took a lot of shots and pills. I was in the car and I threw up badly because I was holding it in at the hospital and my mom got mad at me. But when I got home, there were presents, cake, cookies, ice cream, balloons, my favorite music, a whole bunch of stuff. I, of course, didnt eat anything but it was fun.

Yeah, but I got back at Tamy. Because she was the shortest one, we made her jump until I said she could stop. Hilarious.

Thanks, I am not going to tell Hailey cause she will get suspicous. Cathy, her albino ferret, passed unfortunatly and she was just really upset. Ferrets are too active for me, and they kinda smell if you dont remove their scent glands.

Lol, I guess every one has hilarious stories of their childhood.

Also, it looks like Kamau picked his favorite, me. He bites my brother, Grant. I think Kamau made a wise choice, considering Im the one who feeds him ;D
