when i had my water dragon, his name was Krazy And indeed he was. you couldnt give him enough room. i got to take him to the tub and let him swim around and run and play we had a grassy backyard i let him run around in(in a big pin, im not stupid about 12 foot by 30 foot) and he was happy as can be he HATED his cage. i did everything i could waterfall. treees. water. moss bark sometimes so untill he wasnt having it anymore and was clinging to the top of the wires on the cage top i would take him out and hed sit on my arm or hands and watch tv with the family. Water dragons are amazing. Im sure a few people out here are gonna say"NO! no being out of the cage a lot" oh well, its what he seemed to love
TOPIC AUTO-LOCKED DUE TO INACTIVITY I was after getting a Water Dragon and was wondering how you setup your Water Dragons enclosure?
just some ideas, hard, twisty vines are great, its like a roller coaster for them. fake or live plants,I have a small (real) fern in a little pot for him. hiding caves, you can buy from a pet store fairly deep water bowl.make shure you clean it at least once a day especially if he has pooed in it. DONT forget a uva and uvb lamp! it helps them absorb the nutrients from their food.I have a fan forced one and he can climb on it cos the bulb and fan are covered with a built in protector.
