How much should I hold my anole

Hey I am wondering how much should I hold my anole? I get it out at least everyday and it just sits on my hand and lookes around do you think it likes it or just likes the warmth of my hand?

 

Well, I wouldn't say any reptile ''likes'' handling. Yes, certain ones get tame, but an anole generally isn't one of those, he's getting warmth from your body. Anoles are pretty skittish lizards. I know some are more bold then others though, one of mine will come to me if i have food, but another scoots into hiding the moment he sees me and won't do anything if he knows I'm watching him.

 

What species of anole is it?

 

Its a green anole

 

Oh ya same as mine. Though more often then not they're pale brown.

Yes they're awesome and i love watching them go about there daily ''anole business'', throat fanning, push up, stalking insects

 

I love to see my anole eat I think it is so cool to watch them eat and stalk there food!!!!!
