Iguana's Sick

    I have a 4yr old Iguana that is 40" long and I think he is sick. He won't eat and he is very slugish. When he does move he don't use his front paws well, they drag under him. I need help!! U can e-mail me @ ty813brown@yahoo.com. PLEASE someone help I can not afford a vet at this time.

    Hi,
    We need to know everything about your setup.
    cage size
    temperatures warm, cool end, basking spot.
    UVB lamp make, type, age
    Diet, what do you feed him.

    It sounds like he really does need a vet.

    Well, the foot dragging is a major symptom of metabolic bone disease. Do you have proper UVB lighting and heat sources?
