is this normal???

    is it normal for a red eyed tree frog to sleep on the bottom of its enclosure during the day???

    There might be something wrong with your enclosure. Could you give a description of the cage or just post a picture?

    it stays at the bottom? then i beleive it is temperature issues. heat is less dense than cold air. so hot air travels up. too humid? too hot? It is mostly your husbandry.

    What i need to know is your:

    1. temperature
    2. humidity
    3. if you have more plants on the bottom than the top
    4. is it eating regularly
    5. has it been less active?

    ~* like plamars said. it would really help if we got a picture of your enclosure, so we know if you have substrate, too much humidity, plant abundance.... etc. A picture would really help.
