I think most of you are familiar with my new cage but i have been thinking about planting the plants into the tub instead of just having pots.

Correct me if I am wrong.
I should start by making a rock layer at the bottom (larger ones an gravel). I can then cut a screen and place that on top of the rocks and then fill the next layer with the soil and pot the plants.

What should i put at the bottom to prevent him from eating the soil? I was thinking possibly peat moss.

I have also recently let Gin hunt for his food by making the hole at the bottom screened. The only issue is that the cement tub prevents the crickets from going further up the cage and the water from the misting system does not always drain out the bottom.

These are pictures of the enclosure and the last picture is the cement tub platform.
