    Hi all,

My name is Kim and I am new to the forum. I am on other forums though for my gecko`s, parrots, dog etc.... I am looking to adopt a tortoise. Since I live in Montréal, Québec, it can`t be one that gets too big as he cannot be kept outdoors in the winter.

If anyone knows of someone in my area that needs to rehome their tortoise, please let me know. I am going to browse the forum now and learn as much as I can.

Can`t wait to get to know you all a little better. Are there others from Montréal on this forum?

Since I only adopt or rescue I never get to name them, although we did name Jack and Jill since they were abandoned at a pet shop and I got them from there. I never have the heart to change their name, the name Kiwi for a cag just makes no sense, and the name Zazou makes me cringe, but I would never change them.
Luckily Dodger is a great name for a lab so at least I like that one.

    Or you're named after a gecko? ;)
Haha kidding, I just liked the name because its Korean and can be used for males and females.

    She's 3 months old, the breeder said she's a female. I guess he's right :)

He`s probably telling her sex based on her incubation temp. It`s often correct.
