hello everyone i was wondering what snakes are legal to own? and what one's are not legal? thank's sandy. :roll:
anacondas are illegal. poisonous snakes are illegal but i believe that you can get certification to handle them, i'm not too sure about owning them. the law to ban reticulated pythons was just passed. and i've heard that they're trying to make african rock pythons illegal as well. if you don't know much about snakes i dont think that you would want to choose any of these as pets anyway.
depends were you live if your in Australia you can own poisonous snakes if you buy a certain type of licence but you have to be over 18 and have to have a 2 year handeling experience with snakes. Go on google and look up reptial licence rules for your state
