The Geminid meteor showers are going on right now, about two meteors per minute in North America for the next several hours. Get out there and make a wish ! I made mine and ran back in to the warm house. May all your wishes, holiday and falling star, come true ! (New enclosures, new pets, upgraded equipment? Hmmm!)

I saw a bunch, while procrastinating on studying for finals. I had to go pick up my notebook from my boyfriend's house, and stood on his deck like a loser looking for them. I did see a bunch, and when I got back to my house, I did the same.... stood outside, looking up, in the 30 degree weather. It was awesome! The first few I saw I wasn't sure if they really were shooting stars, I knew the showers were going on though.
