    Hola i am goin to purches a Sav. from a breeder i was wonderin if there were and ppl here show have experience with savs and if they could post their yahoo or msn or aol so i can chat with them bout the certain ?'s i have

    if not then i was goin to build a 6x3x4 i was wonderin is it not good ot put a baby straight into a large enclosure. or should i put him in a 55 g. tank first then switch him over once her out grows thatin

    Its ok to put your baby in a big tank. It may be hard to find in the cage if you ave a lot or rocks and branches though.

    That tank (55g) should be fine for him...for now. Sav's grow extremely fast, and he/she will quickly fill it up. And then you can transfer him to the larger enclosure. What kind of substrate are you going to use?

    i plan on using bout 2 ft of dirt

    I've been told that you should mix some playsand in with the dirt. Sav's love to burrow, and I guess that the sand/dirt mix helps in making the burrows.
