Is it true ferrts smell really bad when they go to the toilet? What do they eat, can you give them a variety of things?
Any animal smells bad when they go to the toilet! LOL It's a rumor that has gotten out of control. Yes ferrets do have scent glads, but 99% of the time the are descented when they are fixed as babies and it's not something you need to worry about. If you keep their cages clean, as with any pet, it's a non-issue. You can give them a variety of treats but for their main diet they have very specific needs and there are only a handful of really good foods manufactured for them.

I think there should be a law against being that cute in the first place. It can cause people to go into unexpected fits of squeeling and cooing.
ve ferrets. i was looking into them before i decided on rats, same sort of personality but less money and sadly short little lives. my friend wants a pair though. they are adorable little things.
I have a ferret named Stinker, and yes he does smell! But thats what makes them cute. You can feed them a variety of different bagged foods commonly found at wal-mart and petco.
True, but more playful! I'm not kidding, these guys get depressed if you don't play with them! they love human contact.
