I recently bought my first tokay, I think its a male and I know they are more colorful. He is about 7 inches long (approximate). He is a very dark grey color with orange and light blue spots... I was just wondering if he would change color to the light blue with orange spots as he gets older...is he still a juvenille???

He may also be in shed. A pic would help most.

my male will change colours all the time, from dark grey blue to sky blue
and the spots slightly change colour too, and shape
im unsure if its due to mood, temperature etc
this is seperate from th echanges due to shedding

tokays turn that dark grey color when stressed, i know both mine do... normaly my male is a very bright blue with orange spots, but when i first got him he was a dull grey color when i opened the box... the darkness should go away as he settles into his new house
