So if you all remember, I have two female tokays! Almost a year old! I got one for free b/c she was really sick! Well the sick one Rockie , she is eating, still a little skinny, but eats like a champ so Im happy about that! And my original member Loco, she is doing awesome. Comes out of her log at night, hunts around, does her thing. Tho I never see her on the walls like Rockie does, but she at a pinkie mouse! I was so happy with her !! Thats my quick little up to date info
oh congrats! glad to hear there doing well. A pinky mouse to boot! Tokeh slept with a pincky mouse..who he did not eat ><...so after that we never tried another. On a separte note our male has started mating calling..loundly and trilling..so were getting him a girlfriend this saturday..hurray!
Thanks Ryask! Ya she slept with one the first night, kept it warm and cuddled, even picked it up and moved it back into the heat! But she ate the second one no problem Mating Eh! Must sound pretty awesome! Good luck with the Female and keep me filled in!
What is it with these Tokay's...they love to care for baby mice lmao. I wonder if there is a way to record the mating call..you wouldn't believe how loud it is..it's insane..it woke me up.
Oh wow! I would love to hear it! Why I wish I had a male My Python cared for her mouse too!! I couldn't believe it! Cuddled right up to it!! Soo cute!
Re: RE: Update on my Tokays! it sounds awesome(except at 4 am!) im thinking of getting a girl for my tokay moe he calls often and its so sad, being in leafy berkshire in the UK i doubt any girls can hear him at all and it would be awful to go through life without getting to do that which we are designed for!

I love hearing my tokays call, sometimes it sounds so funny. Its almost like he gets a huge gulp of energy and as each call goes by, it grows quieter and quieter until i can just faintly hear him.
