Okay , today i picked up my leo and shes Gravid =D or i think she is ... pretty positive she is tho. anyways anyone got a vid of one laying a egg/s ?
Don't have any videos myself but there might be some on the net. Is this the same leo that lost it's tail or had parasites? I've lost track of all the issues you've been having.
its the one that had parasites .. shes doing super swell and is very heathly =D the leo that lost the tail was the mail and is doing amazing all the blood and hard crustys went away and have turned into a soft pink spot =D maybe i should take a pic of the females belly 2 show ?
So the one who had parasites is now gravid... so soon after having/being treated for parasites... thats not good.. Post pics to confirm it, but for your leo's sake, i hope shes not gravid.
Its actually worse that way, her body is going to be twice as stressed from both parasites and being gravid/laying.
Oh ok, sorry, theres been a few people with similar problems, so hard to keep track of em all. Yeah, a picture would be a good idea zippo.

RE: Re: RE: Video of egg layin I sure hope there aren't any amateur videos of a leo laying eggs floating around...The female needs to be undisturbed while she's laying. If she's spooked or stressed in any way (like a camcorder hovering or people moving stuff around to get a better view), she can hold her eggs in and become egg bound. Zippo, make sure you have a good laying box that's private and secure for her to lay in all set up already.

RE: Re: RE: Video of egg layin What morp is the female again zippo? They eggs are soft and pliable when laid, they remain lethery afterwords but they are still fairly large when laid hence why egg laying is so stressful on females.
