We have a lot of tree frogs around our house in the summer time. Does anyone know if it would work out to catch one and keep it as a pet?

probably not. many wild animals either have diseasese or get diseases when placed in captive environments. many refuse to eat when in captivity, as well. also, you have to keep in mind that many herps are protected by state and/or federal law and it could be illegal for you to take them out of the wild. there are tons of species that you could buy for a pet - most of them very inexpensive, too.

Yeah I agree. Plus you won't be removing them from their homes into a cage either. Captive bred are a much better choice and probably a safer bet for you as well.
